DNA Testing

DNA Paternity Testing determines the biological father of a child. We all inherit our DNA from our biological parents — half from our mother and half from our father. A DNA paternity test compares a child’s DNA pattern with that of the assumed father to determine if there is a match. When performed in an experienced, accredited laboratory, it’s the most definitive proof of a biological relationship — 99% accuracy guaranteed.

Prenatal DNA Paternity Testing If the situation dictates that the biological father be known before the baby is born, it is now possible to determine paternity during the pregnancy. A prenatal paternity test is a relatively new type of DNA testing that is valuable to get everything sorted out before the baby arrives.

How long does it take for the results to come in? We can have DNA results in as soon as 1 business day for an extra fee. The normal turn around time is 2-3 business days.

If you need paternity test results that can be used as a legal document, then a LEGAL DNA TEST must be performed. Some common reasons for a Legal DNA Test include:

    • Child Support
    • Child Custody
    • Immigration
    • Birth Certificate
    • Tax Forms
    • Will / Estate
    • Adoption
    • Legal reasons

DNA Testing for Tribal Enrollment We cannot test your DNA to determine if you have Native American in your genes. Generally, testing a person’s DNA does not yield sufficient information to provide details about specific tribal origin. However, if there is someone on a tribal registry to whom you might be related, we can conduct a kinship test between these individuals to determine whether there is a familial relationship such as a maternity, paternity, or siblingship test.

DNA Post-Mortem Paternity Testing is a popular service. It is not unusual for the paternity test to be carried our following the death of the alleged father. Most cases, it is used to establish a biological link between the alleged father and the child in order for the child to be acknowledged as a legal heir to the estate or any assets of the deceased. Although a child’s right of inheritance cannot be denied under any jurisdiction (unless a parent legally relinquishes their parental rights such as in cases of surrogacy or adoption) matters are made difficult to children who are not legally recognized and whose birth certificate does not list the name of the deceased man as the biological father. These illegitimate children may suffer the consequences of illegitimacy and may have to undergo numerous legal battles with the heirs of the deceased to get what is rightfully theirs.

Other reasons may be that the loved ones of the recently deceased want to make sure a child is actually his moving forward in life.

DNA Siblingship Test are used to determine if two individuals share at least one or both parents. We have done these tests for people who have a sibling that may be getting tribal or federal benefits of a deceased father and want to take the results to court to show they are related.

DNA Grandparentage Test are common if the father is deceased or in a situation that he cannot take the test. It is advisable that both parents of the alleged father is required for testing to obtain a more accurate result..

Aunt/Uncle DNA Testing An “avuncular” test determines if a person is biologically related to a sibling of the father in question. This test is a good option when the father is not available for testing, and the only relative available is a single sibling (brother or sister) of the father.

Siblings share approximately 50% of their DNA, therefore an uncle or aunt shares about 25% of their DNA with a nephew/niece. Our accredited lab has the most extensive array of genetic markers available to resolve biological relationship like aunt – uncle testing, which is often another way to determine paternity.

DNA Orgins Test These test will give your racial breakdown.

Infedility DNA Testing are descreet and confidental. We test suspicious stains (on undergarments, sheets, ect.) related to infidelity for the presence of the other woman or man, e.g. blood, vaginal fluid, hair, DNA, semen, sperm, seminal fluid, saliva, condoms, cosmetics. Something to think about concerning condom usage and DNA traces. Sexual copulation, oral, even manual manipulation of the penis can often leave traces of female saliva and or skin cells on the penis which can be transferred to the man’s underwear. This possibility would also be true for female digital or oral stimulation by the man. The female can experience fluid back flow containing seminal fluid ( with or without sperm cells as in a Vasectomy), male saliva, and male skin cells. Both scenarios can offer potential DNA evidence before or after the use of a condom). Additionally condoms can leak, break or slip off during sexual activity.

Immigration DNA Testing the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) recommends DNA testing to prove biological relationships for many who have submitted form I-130 (or others). Immigration DNA testing has proven to help expedite the Immigration Application approval process.

EtG Alcohol Testing available!

What is Ethyl Glucuronide

Ethyl Glucuronide or ethanol (EtG) is an intoxicating ingredient found in beer, wine, and liquor produced by the fermentation of yeast, sugars, and starches. EtG testing is typically used to evaluate and monitor whether an individual is abstaining from the consumption of alcohol. Our EtG testing protocol uses an immunoassay screen with LC/MS/MS confirmation of any presumptive positives. Our confirmatory testing is performed in conjunction with EtS testing. This process maximizes the benefits of both the sensitivity of EtG testing and the stability of EtS as a separate long-term ethanol metabolite.

Key Benefits of Using EtG test Include:

Detects recent usage more accurately and for a longer period of time than standard testing (80 hours)* Ideal for zero tolerance and abstinence situations* Strong indicator of alcohol ingestion within the previous 3 to 4 days* EtG is only evident when alcohol is consumed and is not produced as a result of fermentation* Allows monitoring in alcohol treatment programs* Acts as an early warning system to detect trends towards relapse* Tests are performed by LC/MS/MS on state of the art equipment for accuracy and reliability* Thirty-six hour turnaround time from receipt of specimen* EtG may be run on urine specimens in conjunction with other drug testing panels

Urine Test

Drug Testing

We test the following for drugs

    • Urine
    • Saliva
    • Hair Follicle
    • Fingernails
    • Unknown Substance

DOT Urine drug collection (Laboratory based results) Come in the office or request mobile services to collect a urine specimen for DOT drug testing. Once the specimen has been collected and the paperwork is completed we seal everything and FEDEX the specimens to your local MRO (Medical Review Officer). All of our collectors are DOT certified and compliant. We have relationships with Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp, and Metox to process our specimens or alternatively, we can use your lab of choice (in state or out of state). We will provide our own CCFs, specimen cups, etc unless your company can provide them with your MRO and DER information pre-printed. We can alter CCFs as needed as well.

We provide services to the following D.O.T. segments:

    • Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
    • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
    • Pipeline & Hazardous Material Administration (PHMSA)
    • United States Coast Guard (USCG)
    • Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
    • Federal Transit Administration (FTA)

Non-DOT Urine drug collection In most court cases, submission of a drug test can mean the difference in you winning the battle. We have laboratory-based confirmations for accurate professional results confirmed by a Medical Review Officer.

Instant Tests-After collecting a urine sample, we are able to provide the results within 7 minutes. Using urine the period of detection is roughly 3 days depending on consistency and length of time of the drug(s) taken, as well as the donor’s metabolism. They are the most economical way to implement a drug testing program. We also have them for sale in the office for personal use at home as well. We only use top quality instant tests that are FDA approved and CLIA waived. Up to 10 different drugs can be tested with the instant tests. See our “Store” page to purchase online.

Sexual Assault Drug-Facilitated Panel (aka “date rape” or “club” drugs) “Date Rape” drugs are hypnotics, sedatives and other types of medications that cause a person to have lapses in memory; loss of motor control, consciousness and/or inhibitions; and slurred speech. Many times the pills are slipped into beverages. When mixed with alcohol, the effect of these drugs intensify.

Testing Specimens may include:

    • Urine (generally 3 to 5 days after ingestion)
    • Hair (collected 10 – 14 days after the incident minimum)
    • Suspected glass or container in which the alleged drug was placed

Heavy Metals Exposure Tests Certain heavy metals are essential to good health, such as selenium and magnesium. The term “heavy metals” also includes arsenic, hexavalent chromium (chromium-6), lead, cadmium and mercury, to name a few. You can get too much of a good thing and with heavy metals, it can be toxic.

What makes a person more susceptible to heavy metal exposure?
